The war is not going to come to a close. The best we will get is a cease-fire while Putin reloads and waits for some other causus belli to attack Ukraine or some other adjoining country. As long as Putin is in power, and may well be even after with the next guy, he will pursue Russian imperialist ambitions. The only way to "end" this war is to crush the Russian military and break their economy.

Instead, we're breaking our own economy. What's happening right now is one of the most colossal unforced errors in managing our government and domestic/foreign policy.

We should be 100% behind Ukraine. People saying we shouldn't or don't have any business being there have no clue. Poots and Russia isn't going away. Ukraine is and should always be a sovereign country and allowed self-determination. They want nothing to do with Russia and they should be supported in that regard.
