Marvel Rivals

Since antipop has decided to ignore this game (unexplained hatred :jpshakehead:) and this board is dead, I thought I would mention Marvel Rivals. I turned on my PS5 for the first time in many months and since this game is free I decided to check it out. It was surprisingly fun to play. It's not deep or complicated and it's also not balanced or "serious business" PvP, but it is fun. Lots of heroes to choose from but I only tried a few and they all seem unique.

Anway, not a groundbreaking game and I'm sure it's just a way for Marvel to make more money, but it is fun and doesn't take itself too seriously which is something I have found lacking in games recently. Actually kind of feels like Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare in many ways. And, for the old people like me who tend to avoid FPS multiplayer because it's not fun getting constantly pwned like a n00b, it's not difficult at all. Even with my chronic case of OMT, I managed to come in 2nd or 3rd on my team in the 5 or so matches I played.

Not sure how long it will hold my attention, but for now it's a good time.
