2025 New Orleans Saints’ Cap Moves thread: Jamaal Williams cut, Erik McCoy restructured; cap space currently at -$39,539,537

Just got finished watching the no.football podcast and Mike was talking about the Jamal Williams cut. He said Williams doesn't really save the team $1.6m in cap because another player moves up into the top 51 contracts to take his place. That player is Millard Bradford at $960k. So the cap savings is really only around $640k. That is why messing with contracts at the bottom of the roster doesn't help anything.
