People don't agree with the philosophy when you're not a contender. We all know that Mick does this, but stretching the limits as a non-contender is shortsighted. Also, the restructuring concept is akin to using one credit card to pay off another because you still owe the player money.
I know this because we've discussed Mick's philosophy in several threads. If Drew was behind center and we were a legit title contender, this would not be a discussion, but we need to reset/rebuild strategically, and from the outside, that does not seem like what's occurring.
For record, this is not about McCoy. Prior to Ram's injury, they looked like great picks.

This has nothing to do with my post TBH. I am just pointing out that regardless of if you believe in the philosophy or not, the team is organized enough to not put themselves in an unforeseen predicament where all of a sudden it is not possible to get under the cap.
