Saints Cap Moves: $33,780,933 cap space ….. 8 restructures, 3 extensions, 3 pay cut, 1 release [All current cap moves are in OP below line]

Agree on Cam Jordan, but Demario Davis literally just had a career-year in tackles.

He isn't the same player for sure, and you may see him chasing unsuccessfully in coverage slightly more than we're used to, but to say his production has fallen off is a bit false. The guy is still balling and is just a year removed from being an All-Pro.

You could do a whole lot worse than 36 year old Demario Davis as your starting MLB.

Cam, is a different story, and it sounds like he's amendable to a pay cut. He has a goal of playing his entire career with one team. It's something extremely important to him personally, as an ode to his father and his career. He will do whatever it takes to remain a Saint.

I'm suspect of Davis. I saw him blow several coverages this past season. And also for the first time ever, I saw him miss tackles. I was really saddened by that. Not because of the play or the yardage, but because the guy quite literally never missed tackles that I could recall and it seemed like he was slowing up which is something I'm not ready for. Davis is my favorite linebacker the Saints have ever had (and one of my favorite saints ever) since I started watching them every week (until DA) since 2000.
