This isn't about "sides." It's about you made a statement that is contradicted by the statements of others, and you refusing to believe they are telling the truth. They could have said nothing. McCoy didn't just say he likes Carr, he went on about it for a good bit. He seemed to be completely genuine in what he was saying.
