I've had a couple vodaks. Does this deal in any way help the saints in the next few years? We aren't winning it all with Carr. He isn't the long term solution. Can some one explain if this helps the team to get past our current problems.

I mean it pushes more dead money to the future, however it further leads to the belief that this is his last season here and he will be post June 1 cut next year and we will have to eat at least 30mil in dead cap just for Carr in 2026 and 2027. Essentially if Rattler aint him we will be baaaad in 2026.
