This goes for more than just sports reporters. At some point people began believing that their way is the best way to run/fix a football team and when the team doesn’t follow their exact lead, all hell breaks loose and tantrums get thrown. It wasn’t always like this.

I've heard a few people say that as a society we have lost a lot of respect for people with experience, advanced knowledge and/or expertise. I think it's true and it's a significant problem. Society falls apart if too many people think they know better than the people who actually know better.
