Derek Carr should backup Spencer Rattler then Saints should re-sign Michael Thomas

Okay, I know there is absolutley no way this happened but this scenario would be interesting...

Saints go to Carr, ask him to take a pay cut, he says no. They explain to him he won't be with the team for more than a year while they work on finding his replacement. Carr then gives the team the big FU and says they need to pay him and he's going to take every penny he can get and be the starters. So they tell him, Hey Derek, are you sure you can beat out Spencer in camp? Also, Spencer said him and Olave are excited about workign with mike Thomas as well. So we are bringing back big Mike while you ride the bench just like Kirk Cousins. Carr knows he's done in the NFL. Best he can do is be a veteran back up after this year.

I would watch Saints game just to see this scenario play out.
I highly doubt any of this. In fact, as delusional as Loomis seems to be, I'd count on Carr being on this team for years to come. At this point I am expecting an extension next year to lower his cap hit once again. Loomis is not going to leave his legacy in the hands of a young QB and he needs to separate this era from the Payton era to cement this team and it's successful era as his doing.
