that’s the big thing, IMO. I said this in another thread about Young, but he’s the king of the Almost Sack. So many times he’ll dominate the tackle and push them back only for the QB to slip away as Young takes the wrong angle. Maybe with a better NT this can get cleaned up. Or better coaching.

If Young could have finished on more of those plays I think most people would be happy with the signing. Of course if he had finished he might have gotten more money elsewhere.

All that to say I’m ok with this signing. DE/Edge is one of the weakest position groups. Young and Grandy make a solid duo and at least the team isn’t forced to reach for a player in the draft.
