Bears are about to completely 180 their franchise. They've rebuilt their OL and have their QB for the future. They rebuilt through tanking and clearing cap space.
Browns have not been tanking they had 11 wins two seasons ago. Terrible example. Their issue is the horrible piece of work they traded for.
Raiders have not been tanking LOL. They had Carr and did the same thing we are currently doing. Stuck in purgatory.
Jags is a good example of tanking not working.
Lions have all the talent on their roster from tanking.
Bengals tanked for Burrow and flipped their franchise.
Redskins have JD5 and now they're contenders.
Texans tanked for their QB and flipped their franchise.
There's plenty of other examples but these are just recent ones.
Which is totally fine. We are all allowed to have our own opinions. There is no "right answer".
Tanking does not guarantee success but it's the easiest way to flip your franchise. Granted you need a top pick to be worth it.
