Pat Kirwan said he heard Carr didn’t want to do Saints contract restructure

I could care less about where Carr ate his first meal. His family was comfortable eating Chipotle... they were not ready for red beans and rice, catfish and crawfish etoufee. So I totally understand. His kids may have run away screaming at the sight of a crawfish.

Carr is a good QB in this league, and he can drive the bus if he had a team around him. My only problem with him is we saw too many times where he was showing up his teammates. The thing with McCoy was an issue, and that thing where he went ballistic on Olave was just ridiculous. And there were plenty of times where he just refused to take accountability in his pressers it was always someone/something else.

That totally turned me off to him. Him not even showing his face at the super bowl may have sealed his fate with fans. I'm sure he wanted to "test the market", and he knows how the fan base (some not all) feel about him.

I'll root for him because he's the QB of my team, but I'd be lying if I said I like him as a football player... I don't know him as a person to dislike him. He seems to be a good father, husband and Godfearing man. I just wish he was some other team's QB.
