Cam Jordan is returning to the Saints in 2025 [Saints & Cam agreed to pay cut, 10.3M savings]

Because there’s a new staff on both sides of the ball, it might be a situation where the new coaches need to see first hand their players, before they just start cutting everyone. There’s also an experienced front office in place that has strong opinions. So I’m not surprised that they didn’t clean house. It would be interesting to see how many people Sean cut in year one at Denver compared to year two. But I’m sure Sean was more prepared going to Denver than was our staff.
I agree with you Rex. The film may indicate who can play, but the film will never indicate who can be COACHED to be better. And we have too many examples of former players being released and traded, then playing BETTER than they ever did as Saints. Enough examples that, IMO, if the choices are "player can't play" or "coaches can't coach", I'm more inclined to believe the latter. It seems that CKM places an emphasis on "teachers" for his positional coaches, which just makes too much sense to me. Coordinators should be teaching the SYSTEM, but positional coaches should be teaching the PLAYERS. An important distinction, IMO.

Too soon to say if CKMs way is the right way; or if he even chose the right coaches; but on paper, I'm VERY encouraged and looking forward to the results of that!
