I'd Feel Better about the Saints if...

We've had drafts rated as the best ever in the last 10 years and we've also swung and missed. We've never been "overspenders" in FA because we've never had big loose money.

WE've had 7 to 8 wins 3 years since Brees retired and we've had cap issues, injuries and a coaching change.

Do you expect Loomis to be a magician and simply win despite the facts?

Once again, a Saints fan blaming the guy who won more than anyoen for 16 17 years for not winning after the loss of a 1st ballot HOF QB and Coach.

Instead of blaming Loomis, perhaps we should thanks Mrs. Benson for having an open check book and doing whatever the football guys think needs to be done.

It's not some exact science and there are a billion variables. Nobody wins every year. Look at the Saints and Patriots who dominated from 05 to 20 and compare to Dallas who hasn't won crap in 30 years.
Stop with the Brees nonsense. He retired at the end of the 2020 season. It wasn't just an instant dropoff once Brees retired. Payton won 9 GAMES during the covid year with Jameis Winston, Trevor Siemian, Taysom Hill and Ian Freaking Book starting games. It is 2025 now and the team has gotten progressively worse. There has been ample time to get things in order since Brees retired and it's Loomis' responsibility as the top football guy in the building to not let it slide into such disrepair.
