I don’t understand this sentiment. If Campbell has the potential to be a dominant starter at G for years, why would it be bad to take him in the top 10 regardless if it’s for a trade up or not? K/P would be the only guaranteed nos at top 10 imo.
I’ve seen plenty of people say it’s a bad idea to draft a G high, and I just don’t understand that thinking. Getting a pro bowl G at 9 that always opens running lanes and keeps defenders out of the QB’s face seems like a good pick to me.
Is G what I want the most out of a top 10 pick? Of course not. Other positions have more value if filled by a dominant player, however, if a G is the bpa and every other position seems to be a lesser caliber player, I’m going G all the way.
