The point is there are plenty of recent examples of top tier WR’s that ran 4.5 or slower. None of what you said changes that. You even included another example in Tee Higgins to prove my point even further.
It's a handful of guys running 4.55 and slower. Most guys are sub 4.5 now.
I have an entire thread on WRs attributes from a few years ago. I don't have the time to put all the stats in there for the past couple years, but I might.
He has the height, weight, RBS and hand size for sure. I haven't seen his Vertical, Broad, 3-cone or 20-yard shuttle.
His speed even at 4.57 is still okay for a bigger guy.
I was mainly keying in on your statement about there being a lot of guys in that range, but it's not the top guys. The top guys are faster than that and the handful you posted is just that, a handful of guys with 2 not even active anymore and a few more in the twilight of their career.
The younger generation is faster except Puka who is a tactician.
