The problem is that we’re paper thin. We all knew it going into the year. The stars had to align…Kamara, Hill, Olave, Shaheed, and the starting OL had to stay healthy because there was nobody even close behind them. When you are that reliable on a few players, and ones with extensive injury histories, you’re going to have a bad day. We’ll have to see what happens in the draft but this looks like the same shallow team and the stars are either at or beyond their expiration date. Absolutely, they can start out hot and win a few games but the depth has to improve significantly to have a real chance. And it’s a race against time with this aging team.
