Bears FA G Teven Jenkins visits Seattle

I can't figure out Teven Jenkins. Heading into 5th year in the league, Bears let him go, he's been paid $2M/year for 4 years, I read he's been injured alot, some randos on reddit say he's erratic and is a good run blocker but not a pass blocker.

Does he sound like a viable free agent prospect? I can understand him wanting a 3-year deal, but on the money, he seems high. He averaged 13 games per year from 2022-2024.

I don;t know who his agent is, but they are doing some effective work in blowing sunshine up people's butts.

Suddenly, this guy is a top free agent prospect at his guard position. Spotrac says (I didn't check) he's worth 3 yrs at $31M!

The vibes are kinda weird from this dude.
Agreed

If I’m being honest I’m not high on him and wasn’t super high on Becton.

The bears had a horrific o line last year and got Caleb clobbered at a near record pace. Do you want a guy that was in that o line for 10 mil a year and missed games?

I’d say no

Maybe 6-7 mil but that’d be it.
