If Jeanty, T-McMillan and Will Johnson are on the board at #9, who are you taking?

He may be the right pick at #9, I'm just saying he's not likely going to be a guy that has the speed to take it the distance like Thomas or Nabors. Cam got a bad 40 on Tet. Most are saying that he ran in the 4.55 range, maybe 4.57, not 4.48.

I still think he's going to be a very good player for short to intermediate routes, he's just not likely to be a guy you count on to take the top off of a defense. Not that he won't occasionally get open deep on people.

Beyond that, he's the perfect fit for the kind of WR we need. Although his lack of separation in college is a bit of a concern.
A guy doesn’t need a 4.4 time to be able to take it the distance. He just has to know how to run clean routes, get his guy off balance/reroute them, and if the ball is placed correctly, then it’s a house call. Sure speed is a killer, but a lot of 4.5 guys were big play guys. Colston, Lamb (currently), Chad Johnson, and Dez Bryant comes to mind. Antonio Brown, D Hop, Davante Adams, Mike Evans I believe were in the 4.5 range. Anquan Boldin and Jerry Rice were 4.7 guys.
I only referenced BTJ bc he was selected in the 20s last year. So, he was able to be had, unlike a guy who is selected in the top 5, who we never have a chance at drafting.
