Underhill article: “Saints moves are telling us what they felt the real problem with the team was last season”

This. I just watched Justin Reid’s interview with Kay Adams. He could have signed with the Eagles or the Chiefs if he was more patient but he signed with his hometown team. Obviously money factored in but more importantly it’s about winning. All these guys really believe that they can compete for a championship. That’s all I want. I’m in on 2024.

I love your enthusiasm, but I just can't see this team doing any better than 5-12 in 2024. :sneaky:

Last yrs team was decimated by injuries and had a poor HC. We lose only 1 player of consequence to FA, make a big upgrade @ S. Hire a very promising HC and staff. And you think we will not do any better than we did last yr???

How do you come to that conclusion ??

For a guy who's always talking about semantics and context, you sure don't pay much attention to that when it's someone else. Just went straight for the argument didn't you? The emoticon was a clue. He said 2024. Book it....I GUARANTEE it. 2025....I have no idea. I hope you're right, and I think you probably are.

Semantics and context have nothing to do with my question, I was just asking why with all the injuries and poor coaching we had last yr that with a clean slat injury wise and a promising new coaching staff you think we will be just as bad as last yr?

Semantics and context have EVERYTHING to do with your question. You're fond of telling people to "read it again", so I've attached the quotes & replies to follow along (see above).
i knew better than to respond to you, but did it anyhow since we basically agree on this one. but it seems you like to argue more than you like being right. noted...
