He was, amazing player, sucks that we never got to see him evolve......I feel there was a real loss of guitar influence with both him and SRV's untimely deaths.....

the most prestigious school in L.A. due his guitar love. The Instructor called Randy's mom 6 weeks after he joined. He told her I Can't teach him anymore.
