If Jeanty, T-McMillan and Will Johnson are on the board at #9, who are you taking?

Has anyone brought up Steve Smith's comments on Tet? In a nutshell he's basically saying people are overrating him to some degree and that he'll run a limited route tree.
The sense I'm getting from Steve Smith, Mel Kiper, Todd McShay, & Daniel Jeremiah directly or indirectly is they don't believe he can beat his guy & create separation. The thinking is you'll have to scheme him open or rely on the jump ball.
Of course they could be wrong and in the right circumstances it could still work. I'm thinking a Drew Brees/Marques Colston type combination (a lot would depend on having the right coach & QB).
If this is the belief I can't go with him at #9 but would be OK with him if a 5-10 spot trade down occurs.
