Which Position Should the Team Avoid at #9?

It's a less effective position if the middle of your defense is weak. Offensive plays to the outside are much harder to execute well then plays between the numbers. Runs up the middle, dump off passes, crossing patterns to pick on LB's. All much easier to execute. And your CB's can only be so effective if you lack pass rush.

Fix the front 7 before investing capitol to the outside.

That's silly. If the next Deion Sanders is available you don't draft him to concentrate on the front 7? That's how you get fired. No, if a great CB is there you take him and focus on the front 7 when you can. Or vise versa. Don't pass on a great LB, take him, and focus on CB when you can. In other words, draft players not position.
