I’m not going to use the term over the hill, bc I see last year as an injury anomaly. But I think this has zero to do with Olave’s status with the team.
Over his 11 year career Cooks has averaged somewhere around 650 yards and 5 TDs a season. He will be 32 in September. We spent 13mil over 2 years for him. Not saying anything about his value or what he can contribute, but all of that doesn’t scream Olave insurance to me. I think we would have spent a little more $$ on someone a week ago if that were the thought process. JMO.
