Russian culture isn't the same. And nobody wants to invade Russia, just destroy their warmaking capability, which they make easier by bringing it right to your doorstep....
What about US war capability? They instigate more conflict and death than any other capability in the world. Russians wanted peace long ago. America and UK stopped it. It was real stupid. That's why so many people died.
