If they do it, I think it'll be because Ireland is pushing it, Moore really likes him & Loomis is on board (and likely a Carr trade would then happen to recoup the picks - 4th at best I'd guess).

This makes absolutely zero sense. Nobody would trade anything for Carr let alone a 4th round pick. Doesn't Carr also have an NTC?
