I am in fact NOT ranking him based on who he played for. I am ranking him based on his play, but also making the point to the person I quoted that merely playing doesn’t enhance JAG status. I added the fact that he was playing with the worst team in the league only for added emphasis.
At the end of the day though, it’s all semantics. Clearly that poster has a different definition of JAG than I do.
To me, there are many JAGs starting in the league - competent decent enough players but aren’t going to do much to enhance your team, lineup fillers, average to slightly below average types.
Maybe the staff envisions him developing into something greater, but as of right now, based on his current body of work, he fits the JAG definition above and is someone I’d envision us wanting to upgrade eventually.
