Then we trade #4 (and other picks) to the titans for #1. #4 should put the Titans in position to take either Carter or Hunter.

That makes sense, the patriots have been linked to any and every WR free agent or trade target for the past few years. They also need oline help. They potentially could fill both need with Olave and pick #9. I have no idea what is his value tho. Recent WR trades have been for day 3 picks but they also weren't on their rookie contract
