Autism is not a "problem". 30 years ago no one knew what autism was. It took Dan Marino's son to be diagnosed, and Dan Marino starting the Dan Marino Foundation to make autism mainstream. Before, people with autism were thought as "quirky", weird, retards... but now the condition is much better researched.
