If they weren’t going to draft Bowers, who arguably had the look of a generation prospect last year at 14, then I’d say the chances are slim that they’ll take a lesser TE prospect at 9

So you’re saying exactly what I was saying… or what am I missing here? I said you were gonna use Brock and his draft position and a means against drafting Warren this year, saints could have been trading back to 20, maybe we had 20 first round grades, maybe this year we only have 5. Every single year the draft and value is different.

I kind of get the logic behind what you’re saying but I don’t think it applies here. Plus it’s already been stated on here that the saints are extremely high on Warren and he’s a serious possibility at 9.
