If Jeanty is available at 9, we take him. No brainer.

NGL, even as a strong advocate of his, this gives me slight pause. He passes the eye test for speed but it certainly would have been nice to get some sort of official time for confirmation. Almost makes you wonder why he’d avoid running.

He's letting his tape show is speed.
There’s no questions about Jeanty’s speed. I however literally had these same arguments last year on here when it came to Bowers athleticism. I maintained the same position for Bowers that I have for Jeanty in that the film and analytics show he’s a great athlete.

He’s the consensus best RB in the draft. He literally has nothing to prove to scouts in a 40 yard dash. Especially with all the advanced analytics that show he’s fast (21.7 mph and multiple other runs over 21+ mph). “draftniks” are likely the only people upset by this. I’ve literally heard zero chatter of any scouts/teams being upset about him not running. The film is so incredibly obvious that he’s very explosive.

He's the best player/prospect in the draft. He has nothing to prove.

This reminds me of 1998 when people were doubting Randy Moss because he played at Marshall and dominated. People thought he wouldn't translate, too skinny and lower level competition.

Overthinking Jeanty as a prospect is the same as overthinking Moss.
