Would you pay Brock Purdy $55 million a year to be Saints franchise QB? [mod edit]

That's most quarterbacks though. Good quarterbacks don't make bad teams good. And in this day and age, there ain't no quarterbacks elevating everything around them; this is why we always say they need more weapons..lol. If we bash Purdy, we have to bash Matt Stafford, because what makes him different? The Lions didn't see a single playoff win with him as their starter and we blame everything around him. He goes to a ready made team that went to a Super Bowl a few years earlier, they load up on free agents, and bam! Stafford wins a Super Bowl. We too often bash those quarterbacks who benefit while not realizing that nearly every QB today reaps the same benefits.
I do think that there are at most 4 QBs right now that do elevate their offenses but no QB will take an offense that is devoid of talent and make them great.
That's why I'm on the build a very good vehicle and you can win the race with just a good driver and don't have to have a top 4 QB that elevates a bad to mediocre offense .

And LOL people forget that even if you have one of those elite QBs if your defense is crap you ain't getting to the ship

Get the best race horse and all the jockey has to do is stay on
