I left some leeway as to where we get the position we "need" the most. We could address some in free agency or in a trade or two. The draft of course is the other source and talking about adding a player who "could" start, the first three rounds or at least our first 3 picks are in play. (Adebo was a 3rd rounder, so was Hendrickson and Kamara) The late third and 4th round is where it starts getting dicey and players are likely to need way more development and might not start any time soon. Unless you find a gem that all the other teams missed. It happens. (CJGJ)
No reason we can't address 3 or 4 positions with at least starting caliber players. Was really hoping we'd land a good CB in free agency, and I guess that can still happen. I only like a few CBs in this cycle. Most seem undersized to me. Maybe they're twitchy and can jump real high and run real fast, but how physical can a 5' 10" 180 lb corner be vs some of the big X receivers in this league? (most teams have those big WRs. we don't, but most teams do). Besides, our CB room is young outside of Yiadom. Would rather a veteran.
