I've never seen a draft where every single potential player is a bad one to pick for one reason or another.
- Jeanty (too soon for a RB, positional value) Ditto for Warren.
- The #1 OT's arms are too short and might have prevented sacks in college, but gave up too many pressures for a top 10 pick.
- #1 CB is too slow or injured or something (can't remember the Knock on Johnson)
- #1 WR don't like to watch film and would be a 2nd rounder in most other drafts. #2 WR is too small and is just a copy of the WRs we already have.
- All the DEs except Carter are "meh", too stiff, or they're underwear athletes that couldn't even produce in college.
- #9 pick is too valuable to spend on a guard, NT, or safety.
- And all the QBs are trash.
There's no consensus player we can all agree on. So trade back!!! Except, who's gonna wanna trade up for THESE bums?
We will draft somebody, the positional value might not be there or it might just be because we need a starter at a certain position.
Might even be a QB folks think of as a reach. Who knows?
I know I won't be upset or even overly excited by whoever we pick. I don't have a favorite to be honest, and whether or not they're wothy of a #9 pick,
I see a lot of plyers who could improve our roster. In the end, that's all that matters... all things considered.
