Could QB Trey Lance be a long term option? [update: Chargers sign Trey Lance to 1-yr deal]

Trey Lance, Tribusky and maybe Richardson are the poster children for why you don't draft a QB with less than 2 seasons as a starter. The NFL is not a developmental league anymore with the current CBA. Even then, it's a crapshoot.
