Draft study
LB looks like the safest pick, but you also have to factor a couple things..
1.) position taken... just because they were the 1st player for that position doesn't mean it wasn't late in the 1st, or early in the 1st.
2.) Talent pool... You can't determine that all talent will be equal from year to year, some players taken 1st are much more dominate than others...
3.) We most likely won't be getting our hands on ANY of the 1st selections on the board, we are in a position to pick up the 2nd rated CB, DT, etc..... we might be able to get the 1st LB but that is a crap shoot, and also a very deep position in this year's draft.
4.) Level of depth... Some drafts are LB heavy, some are Safety heavy, some are CB heavy, rarely are any DT heavy.... point being, it's hard to evaluate from previous drafts, unless you take into consideration the level of talent..
That Said, my number ten pick would be:
ANYONE, I'M A SAINTS FAN...I WILL BACK THIS ORGINIZATION, NO MATTER WHAT THEY DO...JUST LIKE LAST YEAR WHEN I CURSED AND SCREAMED ABOUT THE MEACHEM PICK, I SUCK IT UP AND DEAL WITH IT, CAUSE I'M A FAN NOT A MEMBER OF THE ORG.
MY WISH WOULD BE:
CB - DRC
IF
ELLIS OR DORSEY ARE GONE....
