And the reason is because JD (or whoever played oppo MM) is the guy that normally covered the #1. Same 06... we were all wondering why Fred T was guarding the #1 WR instead of McKenzie. It wasn't until later in 07 when MM made the switch... it worked for the most part... but MM still gave up a few big plays.
