Ran across this hidden gem from ‘06 when the current regime began. Fits the weekend, given our first opponent.

Deuce running hard, a sneaky-good defense getting it done when it mattered most and Reggie winning it with his first NFL TD....Enjoy!

Ah yes, the first start for Bruce Gradkowski. And what a first start it was. We really thought we had a diamond in the rough there. But then defenses figured him out and he simply didn't have the support staff (cough, overrated Jon Gruden, cough) or the offensive line or the playmakers or the defense that year to make it work. (Bucs defense regressed significantly in 2006 before rebounding back to their usual dominance in 2007). Still though, it was a good game. And Bruce Gradkowski carved out a nice 10 year career in the NFL, which is not bad for a 6th round pick.
