Father Time being fashionablely late and making his grand appearance in the 4th QTR to finally collect Sherman's soul was also a catalyst.

No D-line depth was a factor as well. The Niners did not have a pass rush in the 4th quarter

Guys, with the way the Saints have mishandled late game situations with the clock and timeouts to lose their last 5 playoff games gives me pause before I jump on other coaches. Blowing the last play against the Vikes was as bad as the 28-3 lead according to the win percentage at the time of the play.

Not quite, the Falcons Win% hovered between 97-99% all the way from the 2 min warning of the 1st half til 4 min left in the game. Saints winning % never climbed above 93.1 and it didn't even get THAT high until the last play was about to start.

Their OL was quite good. If they upgrade from Garrapolo and get some more weapons they are in good shape.

The game was lost when it was 2nd and five and with about six minutes left in the fourth quarter. Shanahan decided to pass on 2nd and five even though Molster was smoking KC with the run.

28-3, 20-10. My two least favorite teams in football. Shanahan will always hold a special place for me.

Amen.. Couldn't have happened to two of the worst teams.
