11th Pick in the 2017 draft quite nice for 7-9 record (1 Viewer)

I think after reading this write up by PFF, I'm on the Reuban Foster train.

I believe Barnett will be long gone before we pick at 11. If we stay with the 3 safety base,I wouldn't mind if we selected Jabril Peppers. I doubt
he makes it past Carolina though. If he does,he'd help stop the bleeding TE's and Rb's have caused the past few seasons.

There is a mock on Bleacher report that has Peppers falling out of the First round.

Which is why I'm pretty sure Cincy will take him at #9. Gotta be prepared for that to happen.

Reuben Foster
Zach Cunningham
Jarrad Davis
Anthony Walker

If Foster's gone, then I might trade down to go after Zach Cunningham. Or target EDGE instead. Depends on who's there.

I'd prefer EDGE or CB first, and hope Jarrad Davis or Raekwon McMillan is there in round 2.

yeah, Adams is a far better version of Vaccaro. Coverage certainly is not his strong suit.

I could handle that. But there are good CB all the way down to the 4th round this year. And EDGE goes even deeper.

Three down linebackers - not so much.

Agree. We just haven't been the same without a stud LB back there like Vilma or Ellerbe (when healthy).

Definitely agree on CB depth, but I also love Adoree Jackson and I want to see what his draft stock does. As of now, he's getting round 2 grades, which is insane to me. I'd be okay with him at 11th overall tbh.

This is just a personal thing, but I don't view the position of LB as a big enough need to warrant using a top 10 pick on one unless it was a generational type talent like Luke Kuechly/Ray Lewis. Foster is good, but I don't view him in that same light coming out.

To me, a top 10 pick, based on our roster should be either be a pass rushers or corner, those are two positions that are much harder to find.

Much to the dismay of half this board, I think Carolina will jump on the Fournette train.

This. The Panthers and LF are a perfect match. If he's still on the board I think they draft him no question. I don't know if he will still be on the board for them though. He's probably going to put up some pretty ridiculous numbers at the combine or at his workout. The hype machine will be at full swing and some team like the Jags could draft him with the idea that LF is the next Adrian Peterson. Some owner like Woody Johnson (Jets) might want to make a splashy pick to get some butts in the seats.

All I know is that I don't want LF to land in Carolina.

Brees with a bigger faster Darren Sproles. Trade back a couple of picks, get 2 high picks( 1st and 2nd or 3rd) and draft Christian Mccaffrey
