And yet Sigler missed a former Saint who was just drafted: RB Martez Carter, Grambling. WR/KR Jalen Saunders from Oklahoma went earlier in the same round (7) as well.

Weird how they just assigned a QB to each team initially. I'm guessing they did it regionally, but it's hard to tell because I don't know who half of them are. But Cardale Jones to DC (from Ohio State) and Landry Jones to Dallas (Oklahoma) I guess point to it being regional.

DC might be fun to watch with Cardale Jones. I think that Perez guy was one of the better QBs in the AAF, though the only time I watched any AAF was in the Aria sportsbook over many drinks, so it's hazy.

FYI pro tip. If any sportsbooks have XFL action, take the under on every single game and count your money. We did this in Vegas for AAF opening weekend once we saw how terrible the QBs were. Took the under for every single game for $100 per game. IIRC we profited $400 (think we went 6-2). The trend held for a couple more weeks until they started adjusting the over/unders or the league folded or whatever.

Another former Saint drafted, technically. WR Max McCaffrey, Ed's son and Christian's brother, who we were scouting for the PS when we found Taysom Hill. Spent just over a week on our PS before the Jaguars signed him to the 53.

And we have a Darius Victor sighting!

I remember Meach (obviously), Sterling Moore, Damian Swann (only because he was arrested for something), Saunders, Tommylee ( ), Dural, and Fortt.

Damian Swann? That guy was cut because he was constantly concussed. Poor guy’s brains are going to be scrambled eggs.
