From Nov. 25, 1979, week 13 of the regular season, the Saints (6-6) travel to Fulton County Stadium in Atlanta to take on the Falcons (4-8). The Saints have lost four in a row to the Falcons, including three last minute heartbreakers.

Great upload, CD! I don't think I'd seen any video of the 78-79 offense before that one. I'd seen short clips, but never a full game. I was barely out of diapers when this one was played, but I know the history well. This was the last meaningful win of the season, revenge for the Big Ben games and the snap-over-the-head game. The next week, we blew the big lead vs. the Raiders and that was all she wrote for '79. Henry Childs looked like a Payton-era tight end.

Interesting that Manning completed 60% plus of his passes and they had the best pass yard ratio in the league.
I have to admit, I love watching the old commercials as I did the game
