1 Miami: Chris long DE Virginia : I think he is the safest pick here over glenn dorsey and sed ellis

2 Rams: Glenn Dorsey: Huge boost inside and would allow Carriker to assume his natural position as a DE

3 Atlanta: Matt Ryan QB Boston College: Future pro bowler is a steal: He has it all smarts accuracy and power he really scares me.

4 Oakland: Darren McFadden RB Arkansas Quick slashing runner who is strong and fast: He will boost a weak running attack. JaMarcus Russell and D Mcfadden is a scary combo

5 Kansas City: Jake Long: They gain a left tackle who will be on their line for the next 13 years. He is solid and will be a great player.

6 New York Jets: Vernon Gholston: Quick and strong he is in the same mold as DaMarcus Ware. He will lead all rookies in sacks

7 New England: Keith Rivers: Scary upgrade for the Pats but it is much needed: Teddy brusci and Junior Seau are old as dirt.

8 Baltimore: DeSean Jackson: Quick and sure handed reciever is just what baltimore needs. Will boost the special teams.

9 Cincinnati: Malcom Kelly: I think Ocho is gone but will be replaced by this rookie from oklahoma.

10: SEDRICK ELLIS: WE get one of the best players in the draft ONLY because Ocho Cinco leaves for Miami He will be a beast for many years to come

11) Bills: Mike Jenkins: The bills get a good CB who will imrpove their weak D

12 Broncos) Ryan Clady: They get a great upgrade to a decent o line

13 Carolina) Sam baker: Huge upgrade to their line Will start immediatly

14) Chicago: Andre Woodson; Decent QB only will be drafted if they dont get a veteran in a trade or F/A

15 Detriot: Leodis McKelvin I wish we coulda got him in rd 2 but im damn happy with sed

16 Arizona: Reggie Smith Cb/S Can upgrade either Cb or S. Will most likely play alongside Al Wilson

17) Minnesota: Calais Cambell DE: They dont have S***T on the edge and this 6'8 monster will help alot

18) Houston: Chris william OT Vandebilt: Promising team gets a promising tackle

19) Philadelphia: Jeff otah: Last year Osi recorded six sacks on the eagles Ot is a major need

20) Tampa Bay: Brian Brohm QB: I think they draft him here and let garcia mentor him. Garcia is old but im sure will be a key part in brohms success

21: Washington: Derrik Harvey: Just what the DR. Ordered a great pass rusher for a stronger growing defense

22) Dallas: Felix Jones RB: Julius is a free agent and marion is a restricted free agent so rb is a need

23: Pittsburgh: Jonathan Stewart: a great power runner and is will be a compliment to Willie Parker

24:Tennessee: Limas Sweed: Vince will get a target he is familliar with. This will help him become even better

25:Seattle: Rashard Mendenhall: He prooved he can play with the big boys. He pounded Ohio state and is a man.

26 Jacksonville: Phillip Merling DE Clemson: They will get a huge end for their tough defense

27: San Diego: Kentwan Boulder: Dont know much about him but i do know he is big and mean and will play great.

28: Dallas: Early Doucet: T.O and terry cant play forever. It's time to get younger and that's exactly what their doing

29:San Fran: Mario Manningham: They need a good reciever and manningham is a great one.

30: Green bay: Antonie Cason: They need deph behind Al Harris

31 New York: Dan Conners: They get a great steal here. He will be great in the middle.

RD 2

1) Miami:Aquib Taleb Is a great pick here for a team whose passing d was horrible:

2) St. Louis:Quiten groves Gives them the OLb passing rushing specialist they need to switch to the 3-4

3)Oakland Anthony Collins OT: Gives them a good tackle to protect JaMarcus and make holes for Darren McFadden

4) Kansas City : Dominic Rodgers Cromartie: Ty law is getting old and this young stud will drastically imporve this secondary.

5) New york Jets: Pat Sims: Bigtime steal. He can play the nose guard position in the 3-4 defense.

6) Atlanta:Cutris lofton LB: Great pick here and there defense is only getting better and better

7) Baltimore: Terrell thomas CB: There defense is old and they need to add youth

8) San Fransisco: Carl Nicks OT their O line keeps getting better

9) Saints: Ali Highsmith: We could either go with Mayo or highsmith but i think we sign briggs in f/a and move him to middle and draft Highsmith

11) Denver: Johnathan Heffney S: John Lynch is getting old and they need to bring another one in to replace him.

Realistic or what?

homer much? :)

its all a crap shoot at this point, but who knows

someone who picks an lsu player b/c they are from lsu, happens alot on this board. Highsmith is a tampa 2 lb, hes to small for us

Home team, Homer, you have us drafting two LSU players back to back.

Urban Dictionary entries:

Someone who shows blind loyalty to a team or organization, typically ignoring any shortcomings or faults they have.

A sports fan who picks his/her team to win, despite objective evidence to the contrary

Having blind judgement towards a player because he is on that person's favorite team. Usually results in poor arguments in discussions and getting raped in fantasy trades.

before you get offended I'd just like to qualify that I appreciate you taking your time to put together this mock draft.

:hihi:

Honestly, at this point in time, any mock draft that has Sedrick Ellis falling to 10 is absolutely absurd. (Actually, any mock draft period is absurd, but that's another rant). We'll see what happens down the line, but Ellis is quickly making a name for himself as the top player in the draft. To think that Keith Rivers, DeSean Jackson and MALCOM KELLY will be taken ahead of him is unrealistic.

The rest of it seems to be well thought out, although it would seem as though there are certain players whose stock is on the rise that you have falling, such as Stewart, Talib, Cromartie and Highsmith; I think they will all go higher; other than that, not bad. :)

I don't think that this will happen Ellis and Highsmith are going to be long gone, but it gives me something to dream about tonight.

It is time for everyone to drink the Ellis cool aid.

Funny how Ellis falls too us at 10 with Desean Jackson, Malcom Kelly, and Keith Rivers going ahead of Ellis.... Three teams want make that hiccup, maybe 1 but not 3...... If anything, one of those 3 trade down and who ever trades up gets Ellis, if its not the Saints trading up.....

and after the Senior Bowl, I doubt that Woodson are Brennan get drafted before the 3rd round.

For Ellis to fall to your pick, he would have to pulled over with a dead body in the trunk of his car. If not picked before, Atlanta will draft Ellis. With Smith as the new coach(once again) and his love for big, penetrating interior linemen; Eliis is almost a lock IMO. If we luck out on Ellis, get ready for Dorsey next year...

If Matt Ryan is drafted at pick 3-5 by us, i will puke until my lungs bleed...

I would hate for Atlanta to get Loften 3 picks before us in the 2nd

I wouldnt worry to much... I dont think the Falcons will draft a MLB until the 6th/7th round. I would say a 2 down run stuffer will be the direction they go, and next year, hopefully we pick up Laurinaitis or Maualuga in the 1st. Thats the direction im hoping for anyway...

I'd love it if thats how our draft played out. But I believe in the coming months leading up to the draft, Sed Ellis will creep up and become the top prospect of the 08 draft. Miami, the Rams, the Raiders, K.C., and Cinci all need impact players on D. Dont forget the Pats. If for some reason, Ellis is still there after 6, the Pats could dangle that #7 to the highest bidder. MAYBE US!

As for Ali Highsmith, I hope he slips to the 2nd. I think Ali's a 1st RDer. I can see teams trading up to get him in the latter part of the 1st RD.
