Dallas Clark and LJ Smith would both make great passing targets for Drew. But I think we've got much more pressing needs to spend cap space on (and god knows Loomis will leave at least 10 million unspent).

I say we keep Billy Miller and add either Utecht or L.J.Smith. Then we select either Jacob Tamme(Kentucky) or Darrell Strong (Pittsburgh).

I don't think the Colts will let Clark get away. Therefor, that probably leaves Ben Utecht available. He's been behind a great player in Clark. I'm not sure what exactly he brings to the table. I think we could add a solid player w/o breaking the bank.

no way we need jacob hester as our TE/FB combo. he will become the new tweener in the NFL. Teams who want the FB/TE combo. You heard it here first. with pierre thomas and hester blocking skills brees will have massive amount of time to throw. the think i liked about thomas was he could block standing up not diving at the knees. Hester will be like cooley (redskins) or clark(colts). He will cause a massive upgrade for protection and fits for teams. Imagine reggie running around with colston and meachem with hester and thomas blocking.

FYI hester and thomas can catch out the backfield.

IMO if we draft a TE I like Rucker. Watched him a lot the last 2 yrs. Big guy, fast, and smooth thru coverage. Great hands.

Troupe or Hopkins-Toledo. Neither should cost an arm or a leg
