Dec. 6, 2009, week 13. The Saints are 11-0, coming off a dominating Monday night performance against the Patriots. They travel to FedEx field to take on the 3-8 Redskins. Despite their record, the Skins still possess a very tough defense.

This game could have a subheading: The Robert Meachem Show.

This was a great game. The Saints had a big letdown, following that huge emotional win on MNF vs. the Patriots. The Redskins came into the game with nothing to lose, and played with a lot of heart.

Bottom line: The Saints were never down, and kept fighting back. Despite a lot of pressure and hurries from the 'Skins all-game-long, Brees finishes with 400+ yds. passing, and the Unknown WhoDat is endeared to Saints fans everywhere!

I can be as snarky and cynical as the next guy, but even seeing this guy happy makes me happy. Looks like he was literally pulled in from off the street corner, too. But we all felt like this after this emotional roller coaster of a game. Thank you, Robert Meachem!
