Dec. 26, 2011, the 9-5 Falcons visit the 11-3 Saints. Both teams have already clinched a playoff berth. Drew Brees is set to break Dan Marino's 27 year old record for passing yards for a season.

This was such a great game - blowing out the Falcons on national television with Drew breaking Marino's record and clinching the NFC South all at once. I was there too, and it was awesome.

If we can get Brees this kind of protection and run the ball as much as we did in 2011, then in 2014 we'll be unstoppable.

This was the last time we dominated the Falcons from start to finish. As one poster pointed out, if our offense can get back to this form, it should make the defense job easier to hold the lead. If a team is always playing from behind, they abandon the running game.

This game is a very special memory for me.

I watched this game with my friends during my bachelor party right before getting married. I wanted to post about it after the fact but never got around to it. My wife also got me a Saints themed cake and a Saints helmet autographed by Drew Brees and Reggie Bush as a wedding gift.

Such good times and memories.
