3. New Orleans Saints — Not thrilled with the hire of the overrated Rob Ryan as coordinator of a shaky defense, but is there any chance Sean Payton and Drew Brees don’t look at the 2013 season as the opportunity to reap their vengeance on all who dare get in their path?
he has us at 3 with green bay and san fran taking the 1 and 2 spots respectively

heres a funny note at the bottom tho
Close, but not cigar
Atlanta Falcons (2012′s No. 1 seed out of the playoffs? Those two WRs are tough to stop, but they’re mediocre elsewhere. Plus, the NFC South will be greatly improved, with Cam Newton’s Carolina Panthers ready to bust out and Doug Martin’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers looking to build on some legitimate glimmers of hope in the middle of 2012)

Seahawks are still legit.

SF could end up 8-8 easily.

Seahawks are solid but they lost their DC, and Teams have a year of film on Russell Wilson.

I hate the Niners but they're still a good team. I think Seattle goes 8-8 with SF beating them out by a game or 2 for the division.

Could be - but the Niners dropped a game to the Rams and also tied them. Seatlle throttled SF head to head. SF has a first place schedule this year too. Frankly I wouldn't be shocked if it went either way.

Teams have more film on Kapernick too now.

We just have to take care of business on our end since we have to play the NFC West this year!

The first place, second place schedule talk is a little deceiving. The schedules are determined way in advance and the previous season finish (ie- 1st, 2nd, etc. in your division) only affects the scheduling of two games. The two games being the same place finishers of the two divisions you don't play in your conference this year.

Falcons are aging faster than we are, remarkable as that is.

Outside of Julio Jones they've added no impact talent the past few years. Gonzalez, Abraham, turner, McClure are all extremely old at this point, and guys like Robinson, Babineaux, Sameul are due to start aging rapidly soon too,
