Some of us knew from the beginning of the season.

Some of us never fell for it. We were decimated early by injury and playing guys off the street the very next week.

There were going to be good weeks and bad, but taken in a 16 game context, it was going to be a struggle to be 8-8 at best.

Yet some thought the division was in reach...playoffs were also. And truly believed.

Not the Saints fault.

That's a fan expectation fault.
