1st Rd - Derek Barnett / DE / Tennessee
http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=130883&draftyear=2018&genpos=DE
We must find the cog that can fill the DE position opposite of Cam Jordan. I believe that Barnett can start and make an immediate impact. He won't wow you at the combine, but that is because he is a tactician. His hand usage and technique is at the top of this class.
2nd Rd - Bucky Hodges / TE / Virginia Tech
Bucky Hodges*|*Virginia Tech,*TE*:*2018 NFL Draft Scout Player Profile
I believe that Drew Brees misses Jimmy Graham. Brees knows how helpful an athletic TE with the catch radius of a barn can be and now that it is gone, he is going to lobby Sean Payton to find him that hyper-athlete that can act as a safety valve. Fleener lacks the requisite athleticism.
3rd Rd - Anthony Walker Jr. / ILB / Northwestern
Anthony Walker Jr.*|*Northwestern,*ILB*:*2018 NFL Draft Scout Player Profile
Here is the MLB of the future! This guys bio is going to sound very familiar to most of you. He was born and raised in the Miami area. The similarities between Walker Jr. and Vilma do not stop there. Take a look at this kids film and you'll see a young, rough edged Jon Vilma reincarnated.
4th Rd - Storm Norton / OT / Toledo
Storm Norton*|*Toledo,*OT*:*2017 NFL Draft Scout Player Profile
A heady offensive lineman that has received All-MAC 1st Team recognition in both 2015 & 2016 that can provide depth behind Zach Strief and Avery Young.
5th Rd - *Traded in the David Onyemata selection in 2016
6th Rd - William Likely / DB / Maryland
William Likely*|*Maryland,*CB*:*2017 NFL Draft Scout Player Profile
This guy is a Swiss-Army Knife! He has scored multiple TD's in a couple of facets of the game: defense & special teams. In 2015 he was selected to the All-Big Ten 1st Team and also won the Big Ten Returner of the year in 2015. His 2016 campaign was cut short by a knee injury.
7th Rd - Victor Salako / OG / Oklahoma State
Victor Salako*|*Oklahoma State,*OT*:*2017 NFL Draft Scout Player Profile
He played tackle in college, but will be better served on the inside in the NFL. He lacks the athleticism that is requisite of a tackle in the NFL. However, he is not lacking in size or strength. He would serve us well as depth behind Tim Lelito and Landon Turner as a RG.
