2018 College Football Off-season Rumor Mill and Coaching Changes (1 Viewer)

Some rumors about Tee joining the Miami staff now...

Wvu fans loving the Neal Brown hire.
Lsu fans know him... Troy hc when they upset the tigers.
Moutaineers upgraded imo.

Welp... Corey Raymond is interviewing with UGA for their open DB Coach position. Time for Orgeron, Alleva, etc to pony up the dough and make good on a long time, underpaid employee.

Cory Raymond would be a big loss. LSU has the money to pay this man. Didn't Steve Sark get hired somewhere yesterday or was that just another rumor? Maybe it was just an interview.

Sark is going back to Bama to be the OC I assume...

Let's be honest, how big of a contribution did he really make to the Saints offense? Maybe he had a hand in the RPOs, but Drew and Pete have been a tandem for over a decade now. What this is really about is bringing in a guy who has been a part of the preparation process of some successful offenses and hope that some magic rubbed off on him and he can transfer some to the LSU offense. He's an unknown, but I dig the hire better than the ideas of bringing in some re-treads. Jeff Duncan seems to like the hire and he has a lot of access inside the Saints locker room.

10 Things to Know: Joe Brady

LSU hires Saints offensive assistant Joe Brady
Brody Miller said:
Before joining the Saints, he was a graduate assistant at Penn State for two years. He was also a defensive assistant at his alma mater William & Mary, where he was an Academic All-Conference receiver. Brady visited the LSU football complexes last summer when he and Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael gave presentations to the staff on their offense. LSU staffers said he was “very sharp.”

Here's a nice read on new LSU assistant, Joe Brady.

Just what kind of tweaks might Brady bring to LSU?

“I think they’ll balance them in a lot of ways,” Rogers said. “Runs called that end up being passes. Passes that end up being runs. From a lot of different formations. He’ll try and take advantage of what he sees.”

“Joe brings something different to the table. He’s an innovator. He’s going to be on the cutting edge.”
